Many ancient villages in Shandong have begun to develop tourism in recent years, packaging and promoting these villages to the market and gaining recognition from many tourists. The most famous of these ancient villages in Shandong include one in Jinan, one in Weifang, and one in Linyi, all worth visiting.

During the Ming Dynasty, a large Ming Dynasty Wang (Wangfu) in nearby Qingzhou had a big mansion, the Fengyi (Fengyi) and Gaojiong (Gaojiong) had villas and enjoyed the fun. In Bamboo Spring Village, streams and bamboo are everywhere, giving a cool and elegant feeling, particularly suitable for summer tourism. Bamboo Spring Village also has many guesthouses, such as local wedding customs performances, which attract many tourists to watch.
There's also a village called Jingtang Ancient Village in Qingzhou, Weifang. And this village is also related to the Ming Dynasty's Wang (Wangfu) in Qingzhou. Jingtang Village is also a remote mountain village, previously inconvenient transportation, the village is built on the mountain, the houses are layered.
The village is about 15 kilometers from Qingzhou district and has a history of five or six hundred years. The village is very rustic, without modern buildings, most of the houses are made of stone, simple and natural. Visiting the village involves climbing stairs, which can be a little tiring.
The village also produced a Wang (Wangfu) guest, the village is centered around Wu Yijing (Wu Yijing)'s seventy-two houses, forming a unique ancient residence complex with Zhang's courtyard, Wu's courtyard, and Sun's courtyard. The village also has defensive city walls and towers, which is very distinctive.
