Recently, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration website published the list of National Forest Health and Tourism Bases (First Batch), and Haigouda Forest Health and Tourism Base was listed in it.

Haigouda is located on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and the Sichuan Basin, belongs to the Qioning Mountains, is the core area of the 'Shangri-La', with complete mountain vegetation belt, abundant hot springs and cold springs, magnificent low-altitude glaciers and waterfalls, strange and spectacular red stone beaches and valleys, rich ethnic minority customs and abundant and splendid red culture, is the only ice glacier forest hot spring park in China.

Haigouda National Forest Health and Tourism Base is a forest health and tourism base with original forests as its core, with an altitude of 1500-2800 meters, the base area is 9820 hectares, with forest area of 7074 hectares.
