Entering Lushui Hongshi Valley·Cherry Grove Scenic Area
Shifeng Valley·Cherry Grove Scenic Area is located in Wuyagu Township, Luishi County, Henan Province, within Miaogou Village, and was awarded as a National Beautiful Rural Area Demonstration Village by the Ministry of Agriculture in 2013. It is 10 kilometers away from the county seat and connected with the 322 Provincial Highway, with very convenient transportation. The total area of the scenic area is 10 square kilometers, which is a tourist attraction that integrates natural geological landscape, ecological agricultural landscape, and leisure and vacation, as well as rural experience. There are more than 100,000 cherry trees of various varieties in the scenic area. Due to its large scale and delicious fruit, it is famous throughout the country.
In spring, 'Suddenly like a spring breeze, thousands of trees bloom', the entire Cherry Grove becomes a world of flowers and a sea of flowers.
Before and after 'May 1st', which is the cherry ripening season, the cherries are abundant, like pearls and agate adorn the branches, creating another scene of a red ocean. When you get close, the fragrance is intoxicating, and tasting a bite, the rich sweetness soaks into your heart. Due to its large size, delicious taste, and brilliant color, it is exported to inland and surrounding provinces. The scenic area has driven the prosperity of surrounding farmers.
Shifeng Valley is located in the southern area of the tourist garden. The natural Shifeng Valley landscape belongs to the Danxia geological formation, formed during the Jurassic period 170 million years ago. The formation is the result of differential weathering, gravity collapse, and water erosion, forming a perilous, steep, beautiful, and magnificent Danxia geological formation. In the scorching sun, it seems like a roaring volcano, and when the sunset shines, it blends with the evening glow, forming a whole. When viewed from close, it resembles towers, knives, and swords; viewed from afar, it looks like a mountain covered with cherry blossoms, adding a touch of coquettishness. This scenic area is rare nationwide, and only exists in Henan. The Shifeng Valley is composed of red sandstone gravel with a height of 10-50 meters, and the red soil peaks. Some resemble dragons, others tigers, some resemble pagodas, and others resemble swords, with various forms and lifelike. The Danxia-like natural red stone, when viewed from a high vantage point, is extremely steep, making you feel like you are standing on an empty space, dazzling and fiery red shows the irresistible charm of nature and the mysterious creation of God's work.
