Lingshan Cave is also known as 'Lingshan Illusion', a vertical karst cave with layered limestone, renowned for its 'grand, majestic, spacious, and magnificent' features. The cave is tall and deep, vast and mysterious, with winding and overlapping passages.
A myriad of forms and styles of stalactites and stalagmites, resembling flowers, fruits, animals, immortals reclining, tigers and rabbits running, lifelike and vivid.
Within the cave, stalactites and stalagmites adorn the walls, with a variety of strange and beautiful rocks, resembling birds, animals, flowers, and Buddhas, incredibly subtle and difficult to describe.
On the left side of the central hall, a huge waterfall forms along a wall, with a width and height of tens of meters, all composed of lotus-like limestone blocks, like clouds and snow, cascading down, with a majestic and magnificent momentum, as if the sound of thunder filled the ears, and the body seemed to sway with it.
What's unique is a patch of regular stone ribs on the cave floor, with varying heights and curves, moistened by underground water, resembling the condensed version of Chen Mingchen's long canals, and like a miniature landscape of terraced fields.
Lingshan Illusionis a rare vertical double-layered limestone karst cave, the largest karst cave in Hangzhou City, with natural ventilation, warm in winter and cool in summer. The rock scenery is diverse and colorful, seemingly creating a magnificent little world in the cave.
