Kilauea volcano is the largest active volcano in the world. The island is roughly triangular in shape, with complex landforms, including the snow-capped Mount Manakea, cloud-covered plateaus, coastal cliffs, tropical beaches, lava deserts, and plant forests. The coastline is 266 miles long.
