Shaoxing Area Tour | At the Foot of Fushan, a Wonderful View of Shaoxing City
Follow me, I will irregularly share scenic spots around Shaoxing, Zhejiang.
Fushan, formerly known as 'Wulongshan' (Dragon Mountain), stands alongside Fushan and Lushishan within the ancient city of Shaoxing, ranking as the first of the 'Three Mountains' of Shaoxing. It boasts a rich cultural atmosphere and enduring charm, adding to the grandeur of Shaoxing's historic waterways.
Viscounts and generals of ancient Yue, as well as heroic figures, once built their fortunes beneath Fushan. The prosperity of the Yue Kingdom arose with the times.
As the starting point of Shaoxing's prosperity, someone once exclaimed, 'In the history of ancient Yue, all kings, nobles, generals, and heroes could be found on this mountain; all battles and struggles of the past could be traced to this mountain.'
Therefore, for over 2500 years, Fushan has held a dominant position in Shaoxing.

Climb to the Feiyelu Tower on Fushan to overlook the Eastern Yue and Penglai Pavilion.
Fushan is not just a landmark of Shaoxing, but also a 'city landmark', and no new city can ultimately replace its 'treasure is precious to the heart; hermit is hidden from the world' atmosphere. Now, Fushan has become a great place for sightseeing and enjoying the view. I remember posting a: 'Every city should have its own spiritual corner, and a place to escape reality by climbing high and letting it go.' For me, in Shaoxing, Fushan's Feiyelu Tower is my spiritual corner.
