Spring warmth dispels gloom, cherry blossoms bloom on Mount Tai.
Around Qingming Festival, the snow and ice in Northeast China hadn't completely melted, and the earth hadn't turned green, while the south was already blossoming with spring flowers and trees. We missed the cherry blossoms in Jiangnan, we shouldn’t miss the cherry blossoms that were step by step approaching us. Since it's still spring, let's take off our heavy and bulky cotton clothes and head south to welcome spring.
The upcoming three-day Qingming holiday is suitable for Northeast Chinese office workers to view cherry blossoms, and Qingdao is the best choice. As soon as April arrives, cherry blossoms are everywhere in the city, falling and fluttering, and at this time, Zhongshan Park is truly a fairytale world dressed in cherry blossom rain.
Small holiday +1 to Qingdao to view cherry blossoms, a gift of Mount Tai summit.
Day 1: Evening in Shenyang North took T244 sleeper, slept until dawn.
Day 2: In the train, finished brushing teeth (save time). As the train entered Taishan, I looked out the window and saw it raining, worried about not seeing the sunrise and sunset, got off Taishan Station, the rain stopped (lucky), walked north about 24 hours, ate breakfast at 24-hour Kentucky Fried Chicken. Then turned right at the north road, took a bus to Red Gate, followed Shan Road forward.

There are incense braids to buy along the road to go up the mountain.

When you get here, you need to buy tickets.
Pre-book tickets online, no need to queue for tickets, just scan the code to enter. Not far to the right of the entrance is a martyr monument, not big, you can go in to see it. If you have offerings for the Buddhas on the mountain, you can offer a prayer to the martyrs, Buddha uses divine power to protect our future, and the martyrs created our present with their lives.
Don't rush, there are many inscriptions to read.

In the distance is the South Heavenly Gate.

The most difficult section.

Look back and look at the road you came from.

Remember: It's drizzling in the city, as soft as silk, is this where it is?
Go along the way and have fun, arrive at Taishan Peak Meteorological Observation Station at 2 pm, put down luggage at the hotel (booked online), rest for a while, go to Yu Huang Ding and Hui Tian Street to stroll and watch the sunset, eat dinner and return to the hotel to rest.

Sunset
Day 3: Early morning at Qinhuai River Bridge to catch the sunrise, must hurry, people are crowded and there is no place to stand if you're late. (Remember to bring warm clothes, it's very cold on the mountain in the morning, a windbreaker won't work, a down jacket and a padded jacket are all dirty) When the sun rises, people quickly descend the mountain, at this time don’t rush, eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and stroll around the hotel, there are many beautiful scenery waiting for us.

Check out at noon and go shopping in Taian City, take the Z274 sleeper in the evening to sleep for a while.

Day 4: Early morning at Qingdao Station, small rain just stopped, the air is fresh. Walk straight along the coast to the pier. When it's still dark, wait for the sunrise at the seaside.

(Qingdao people proudly said to me: Our Qingdao parks are free for everyone, regardless of locals or tourists)
Fifth Avenue Square

At noon, go to Chuan Ge Fish Dumpling Restaurant to eat seafood dumplings, full family pack seaweed conch multi-flavor, fresh package fresh cooked, still fresh to eat, much tastier than supermarket frozen same flavor.

Walk around Eight Gates
In the evening, take K702 from Qingdao North Station, arrive in Shenyang home the next afternoon.

(This trip, choose night sleeper carriage, save money and time)
