On March 18th, a truck loaded with excavated soil exited the construction site of the Wazi Collective Community Project and entered the community under construction. The view was of a foundation that had been excavated to a depth of more than 3 meters.
The Wazi Collective Community Project is part of Laixi's efforts to explore the 'Laixi Experience' in the new era, merging the villages of Xincun, Guangcun, etc., into a 9300 square meter rural aggregation community.

In December 2019, Malianzhuang Town introduced China Construction Group using market-oriented means to renovate idle houses and land plots within the villages, quickly advancing rural aggregation community construction.
The first phase of the community project involves constructing 4 buildings, with completion of the main structure expected in June and internal decoration in July. The second phase, which started in August 2020, will construct 17 residential buildings, 1 mutual aid elderly care center, and 1 community hospital.
Meanwhile, at a construction site 3 kilometers from the collective community, workers are using picks, bricks, shovels, and hods to repair the old alleys. The 47 newly built guesthouses at the base were completed in April, and the trial operation will be completed in May.
The 'newly unveiled' Heiya Red Education Base will be renamed 'Comprehensive Ecological Tourism Red Small Town.' The 'Comprehensive Ecological Tourism Red Small Town' will become a Qingdao Party and Government Education Base, a Qingdao Enterprise Employee Patriotism Education Base, and a Qingdao Middle School Off-Campus Training Base.

Through reciting the Party Pledge, visiting red sites, listening to revolutionary stories, and receiving red historical indoctrination, the 'Comprehensive Ecological Tourism Red Small Town' can receive more than 5000 visitors annually.
'The Comprehensive Ecological Tourism Red Small Town has received attention and policy support from the National Tourism Administration, and Qingdao Development and Reform Commission has invested 150 million yuan to build the base. Malianzhuang Town Secretary Zhaojie told reporters that Malianzhuang will further rely on the 'Comprehensive Ecological Tourism Red Small Town' to develop its red resources, achieve red tourism, leisure and elderly care, and multi-industry integration.
In addition to repairing the red education base project, 150 acres of land for development south of the village of Junz camp in village one of the eighteen villages is being used.
