One by one small parks are being built

Yesterday, reporters saw by the Jing-Hang Grand Canal at the north side of Wenchang Bridge. Construction workers are building roads and planting trees at the northeast corner of Wenchang Bridge's small hill… Climbing the hill, the Jing-Hang Grand Canal, the Yangtze River Bridge, and the adjacent Wenchang Bridge and Jing-Hang Heart Conference Center can be seen in one view. According to the construction workers, they are constructing part of the Jing-Hang Grand Canal Scenic Area construction, which is the east bank park of Wenchang Bridge

From the effect diagram, it can be seen that the Wenchang Bridge east bank park is centered around this small hill. The hill is planned to plant trees, lay grass, and has a landscape pavilion. Below the hill, a ring-shaped walking path is planned, as well as a resting corridor. Along the Jing-Hang Grand Canal, a fitness walking path is planned to be built along the shore. In addition, the space under the bridge on the Wenchang Bridge will also be utilized, and some children's play facilities and fitness facilities will be built, creating a playground for children and citizens

The Yangtze River Bridge's east bank is also under construction. Like Wenchang Bridge, the east and west banks of the Yangtze River Bridge will also be built into small parks for citizens to relax. The Jing-Hang Grand Canal west bank from Wanfu Road to Development Road is also leveling the land and piling up soil to create shapes

It will become 'Yangzhou's Bund' in the future

The Jing-Hang Grand Canal Scenic Area urban section under construction extends from Wanutou to National Route 328. It is divided into three sections, from the northern side of Wanutou to the planned Ankang Road is the ecological vitality section, from Ankang Road to Yangtze River Bridge is the urban core section, from Yangtze River Bridge to the south to the new National Route 328 is the urban double repair section

The entire Jing-Hang Grand Canal Scenic Area is built in accordance with the local conditions, creating a series of small citizen parks, forming the Jing-Hang Grand Canal Scenic Area. These citizen parks include the Interchange Point Park, the Wanutou area park, the Yangtze River Bridge east and west banks park, the Wenchang Bridge east and west banks park, etc. After the scenic area is built, the Jing-Hang Grand Canal urban section along the line will not only improve the environment and enhance it, and with the completion of other supporting projects, it will become 'Yangzhou's Bund'
