Best Time to View Flowers at Shangzhi Lake; Hundred Acres of Rapeseed Flowers in Full Bloom, Island Full of Vitality
This is the second time visiting Shangzhi Lake National Wetland Park, and the feeling is natural and wild. There are Gongchao (Port Chao), reed fields, clear lake water, flocks of wild birds, and abundant aquatic plants, maintaining the natural, rustic, and wild natural lake wetland landscape.

Shangzhi Lake is located in Deqing, Zhejiang Province, with an area of approximately 36.5 square kilometers and a water area of 3.4 square kilometers. The central lake is 1.26 square kilometers. It has been awarded the title of 'China's Most Beautiful Wetlands'.

Boarding a boat for a water tour of the lake. Unlike the usual crowds of tourists, Shangzhi Lake is quiet during the weekdays, with most boats docked at the piers.

The boat tour is divided into three segments: the first segment from the tourist center pier to Reed Island, with a distance of over 3 kilometers; the second segment from Reed Island pier to Dapeng Island (White Egret Bay), approximately 1600 meters, followed by a visit to Dapeng Island and then to Peach Blossom Island; and the third segment from Peach Blossom Island pier back to the tourist center pier, approximately 1200 meters, marking the end of the tour.
Reed Island features bamboo piers, bamboo bridges, bamboo corridors, bamboo dormitories, and bamboo houses, resembling water-based hanging houses, ingenious and unique.

The wetland labyrinth has many attractions, mostly wooden boardwalks winding through the water, with observation towers, Reed Maze, and leisure tea rooms.

The winding and curved paths and boardwalks in the Reed Maze appear suspended in the air; the high observation tower offers a panoramic view and a distant mountain view.

Walking across the suspended boardwalks in the labyrinth.

Sitting on a power-driven boat, listening to the tour guide introduce the history, origin, legends, and characteristics of the scenery along the way, while enjoying the oilseed rape flowers and green reeds on the shore.
It is reported that Shangzhi Lake is beautiful in all four seasons: in spring, peach blossoms and willow trees bloom, with oilseed rape flowers opening successively; in summer, the lake surface is covered with green lotus and sun-reflecting lotus flowers; in autumn, the fragrance of cassia trees lingers, sunflowers smile, and the reeds rustle in the reed groves; and in winter, the lake is covered with snow, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

There are many flowers blooming in the wetland park, which is very beautiful.

Fishermen are working on the main lake area on the north side of Shangzhi Lake, which is enviable.

Shangzhi Lake wetland is a paradise for birds. In summer, white egrets and gray egrets mainly reside there, and in winter, ducks and pheasants are the main inhabitants. The waterbirds are a major attraction of this wetland.
Through the water, I can see a large number of white egrets standing on the branches of trees. Unfortunately, the distance is too far, and the lens cannot focus, so taking pictures is not as expected.
