Smelling cumin instantly brings to mind those barbecues with a cold beer. The charred garlic is even tastier than the meat, and you must use a lot of garlic!

Cumin Garlic Pork Ribs - A Decadent Treat
- Prepare the materials.
2. Cut the pork into pieces, peel the garlic, and chop the green onions into segments. One root is enough, I later only used one. The other root is for frying eggs in the morning. What a thrifty cook!
3. Add appropriate amount of light soy sauce, salt, black pepper, olive oil and cornstarch to the cut pork. Mix well.
4. Pour oil into a pan and heat it up. After the oil is hot, add the garlic cloves and green onions to release their fragrance. Continue to stir-fry the garlic until the garlic skin turns golden brown, like 'Tiger Skin Garlic'.
5. Take out the garlic and pour the oil from frying the garlic to sear the marinated pork.
6. Fry over low heat, turn the meat blocks and brown each side.
7. It's about frying to this extent, some meat blocks are already charred, that's okay.
8. Add dark soy sauce to color it. It's so convenient to use dark soy sauce, I used to make caramel sauce, which is so complicated.
9. Stir-fry evenly and add the garlic that was previously fried.
10. Taste before serving to adjust the saltiness. If it's not salty, add more salt. I watched Wang Zulan saying something when his mother-in-law came to visit. A reality show taught me a small life trick…
11. Plate the finished dish. Enjoy a delicious dinner!
Tips
1. Using olive oil and cornstarch to marinate the pork, the meat will not lose moisture during cooking, and the texture will be more tender. If you don't mind the trouble, you can use egg whites to rub the pork for a more tender texture. This is ribs, the texture is better than pork belly. If it's still tough, beat the meat with a knife before cutting.
2. If you don't have olive oil, you can use peanut oil or soybean oil.
3. I suggest everyone use a non-stick pan, because cornstarch marinated pork might be sticky.
