Microwave Baking Potatoes: A Lazy Person's Failed Culinary Innovation
Office workers are always in a hurry and don't have much time to make nutritional arrangements, especially breakfast, so they want to try quick and convenient nutritious foods to solve their daily energy needs.
Almost all cooking can be found with highlights. Although it is usually prepared in the oven, I use the microwave to bake potatoes, which creates the same delicious results in a short time and then collapses directly.
More importantly, before microwaving, I thoroughly clean the potatoes to ensure that any dirt in the crevices is removed. I use a brush to clean the potatoes. After cleaning, I dry the potatoes with clean paper towels.
Season the potatoes. Rub a little oil on the potato skin and then sprinkle with salt and pepper. This adds some flavor to the potatoes and helps make the skin crispy.
Poke the potatoes with a fork. This allows steam to escape and prevents the potatoes from exploding in the microwave. Poke the potatoes three to four times in each area (top, bottom, and sides).
Place the dish in the microwave and select the cooking time. Set it to complete cooking at full power within 8 to 12 minutes,
Innovation is in continuous repeated attempts and testing. This failure is a good start,
Next, try using bacon fat as a coating for the potatoes,
Drill several holes in the potatoes with a toothpick to see if they are edible,
Bacon fat can keep the potato skin soft and give it a different flavor,
Wrap the potatoes in plastic wrap so they don't dry out,
Use a lower microwave power and extend the time. 800-watt microwaves require 1.5 times the microwave time for testing.
