A Pride of 100 Water Buffalo Scares a Lion to Death, It Climbs a Tree and Shakes in Fear, Becoming an Emoji

On the boundless African savanna, the lion is undoubtedly the most ferocious hunter, the lord with the most overwhelming power. Its roar terrified prey, its fangs deterred invaders, but perhaps these were just the lions' 'backstories'. The British Daily Mail published a series of photos of lions being scared and panicked on February 3rd, which made people burst out laughing.

The photos were taken in a national park in Kenya, and the photographer was Nilu Paul Barua from Mumbai, India. He told reporters that when he was traveling, he saw a group of hippos in the distance, as many as 100, and they seemed to be passionately chasing something. When he looked closely, my God, there was actually chasing a male lion. Barua was thrilled at the time, feeling like he had witnessed a rare sight.

So he followed the hippo group, and this poor lion was chased by more than 100 hippos to the base of a tree. The cats used their signature ability to climb trees. The lion climbed up step by step, and the hippos had no way. They kept walking back and forth under the tree, and the lion was terrified, shivering, and failed to manage its expression. The lion's face was so scared that it was distorted and became an emoji. The tree is obviously not suitable for the lion to stay for a long time, how to say it is also a male lion.

This big cat slowly slid down, and during the process, it didn't forget to roar symbolically to scare away the prey, but it was completely useless. The lion looked so cowardly. After a while of maneuvering, the hippos lost interest in teasing the lion and left. The male lion saw the hippos leave, jumped down, shook its mane, as if nothing had happened. Internet users were simply amused, saying that this scared little cat was too cowardly, and they didn't realize that the king of the grasslands would be chased by hippos and flee everywhere.
