Spring Warmth Embraces the Earth, Yanqing Wild Duck Lake Becomes a Bird's Paradise
Spring warmth embraces the, located in the northwest of Yanqing District within the Ya Dao Lake Natural Protection Area, attracting thousands of birds to reside, with azure skies, clear waters, and free-flying birds, creating a harmonious and beautiful natural painting.

This afternoon, over two thousand bean geese, swans, spotted-necked geese, blackian ducks, and red-necked grebe were observed residing in the southern lake area of the protected zone. They were paddling and foraging in the water, resting on the ice surface, leisurely strolling and foraging, and occasionally flocking together, soaring through the air.
Walking along the lakeside, one might occasionally hear the call of the pheasant-headed chaffinch near the water, along with flocks of whiskered jays and the different calls of brown-headed jay, resembling a symphony. Reaching the northern lake road, nearly one hundred pheasant-headed chaffinch were startled and fell from the road into the reed pond, along with pheasants and red-crested grebes flying overhead. Near the northern edge of the lake, nearly one hundred black-faced spoonbills also returned to their breeding grounds, busy claiming territory, grabbing grass and branches, and settling into their new homes, with some simply standing on the ice, lost in thought.
At this time, Ya Dao Lake has truly become a paradise for birds.
