After Six Months, Still Unable to Forget Encountering a Similar Dog on the Road
Every pet owner wishes their dog would always be by their side, but a dog's life is finite, and no matter what we do, we can't make them stay with us forever. Normal departures are generally acceptable and seen as a peaceful passing. What's truly heartbreaking is when a dog leaves unexpectedly. Seeing their belongings often brings back memories.
The internet owner's puppy suddenly passed away unexpectedly, causing a huge emotional impact. It was hard to accept, and it took a long time to recover. I thought I would eventually forget about it, but that wasn't the case. Every time I see the puppy's belongings, I'm reminded of it, and sometimes I even feel like it's still home.
The little dog had been gone for six months, and the owner had already moved on from the initial grief. When taking the dog for a walk, they had to keep it on a leash, otherwise, there would be no way to prevent accidents.

The internet owner's puppy died after being hit by a car while being walked. It was because the puppy was not wearing a leash when it was being walked.
Even after six months, the owner still couldn't completely let go.
Recently, the owner encountered a puppy that looked exactly like their original puppy. They couldn't believe their eyes, and for a moment, they thought their puppy had returned.
They realized that the puppy belonged to another person at that time, and quickly fell back into sadness.
The owner could not forget the puppy, feeling that their own negligence caused its death. To make amends, the owner decided to adopt another puppy, taking good care of it, and ensuring it's safety.
The next day, the owner bought a puppy through social media and spent every day with it, always keeping it on a leash, and never letting it run freely.

I wanted to share this story to relieve my emotional burden, and I also hope that everyone will keep their dogs on a leash when they go for walks. That leash isn't a restriction, it's a reflection of your love for your pet.
I often see people walking their dogs without leashes. This behavior is not advocated. If it's in a large park, it's okay to let the dog run around, but when walking on the road, it's better to keep it on a leash. What do you think?
