There is a large animal called ‘é’ in Huaian
Huai'an people call a large animal 'é', always have called it this way since childhood, but never knew how to write it. This is 'niu' (cow).
In some areas of Huai'an, 'é' is called, the reason is unknown. It's always a mystery. There must be its origin and legend.
Searching ancient literature, no answer. Searching the internet, other regions don't have this call. It's a mysterious existence.
