Square-Scaled Shield Gecko
Shield GeckoBody is brown-beige, with square-shaped scales on the neck, back, and tail, length 45-70cm, males are larger.
Mainly distributed in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Togo, Malawi, Congo, South Africa, etc. Shield Geckos prefer dry environments, often residing in tropical grasslands around plants, and in abandoned termite mounds. Their main food source consists of insects, small lizards, and fruits.
