Suitable Environment:
Rabbits should be raised in a rabbit house, with a cement floor and a layer of soil and dry grass on top, always keeping it dry, ventilated, with sunlight, and not letting the rabbit house be damp. Rabbits are not afraid of water, but in a damp environment, they are very likely to get sick. Their food also has a high moisture content, which can easily cause diarrhea. Therefore, they naturally avoid water. Female rabbits that have given birth cannot be raised with male rabbits. After the female rabbit breeds, it takes one month before it can be mated.
In ordinary families, they raise various breeds such as domestic rabbits, Japanese rabbits, white rabbits, and wild rabbits. Different breeds of rabbits can be raised together without problems (If it is a pet, it is best not to raise two rabbits, same-sex rabbits may fight, opposite-sex rabbits will have one litter of bunnies every two months, they need to be separated or sterilized.)
How to Grab a Rabbit:
Many people think it's easy to grab a rabbit, with little technical content. After all, they've been raising rabbits since childhood, right? You can't tell much when they're young. In the memories of many people, grabbing a rabbit is simply holding its ears. However, breeders won't directly grab their ears, because this will cause harm to the rabbits. First, the rabbit's ears have a lot of nerves, and grabbing their ears can affect their hearing and sensation. Second, if the rabbit's ears and soft tissues are damaged, it can cause drooping, which affects heat dissipation. Some rabbits with large ears have difficulty adapting, and sometimes they struggle randomly, making them uncomfortable. So grabbing a rabbit is also a skill. Generally, breeders grab the neck with one hand and hold the rabbit's buttocks with the other hand. Another trick known to breeders is that if you turn the rabbit's belly up, it will be in a state of hypnosis, so that some rabbits will be quiet.
Teach It to Go to the Toilet: In the toilet, place wood shavings as bedding.
Don't neglect the arrangement of the rabbit cage. First, try not to use wire cages. Instead, place soft pads or cloth on the bottom of the cage. Rabbits have a sensory pillow on their feet, and standing on the bottom for a long time will cause their feet to develop pads, making it difficult to walk, and in severe cases, it can make them resistant to being picked up. Rabbits also choose a corner of the cage as a toilet, and the other corner is their bed. So, as the owner, you should place soft cloth on the bed position, so that the rabbit can sleep soundly. Also, the owner should put wood shavings in the toilet, and regularly replace them, otherwise, the rabbit is likely to get skin diseases, and the house will smell bad.
Three-Month Warm Water Bath:
Rabbits are inherently very clean, and if you wipe their bodies every day to remove eye discharge, a bath every three months is not a problem. In sunny weather, you can give them a warm water bath, or sprinkle dry washing powder on their bodies and comb them with a comb to remove the powder. The rabbits will become fragrant and fresh!
