Warm Spring River, Wild Ducks Know First; A Thousand Wild Ducks Reside in the Min River
The weather is sunny and beautiful today, with bright sunshine on September 29th. Reporters in Pengshan, Meishan, Sichuan, saw that the clear river attracted nearly a thousand wild ducks to reside there.

Reporter learned from the forestry department that the wild ducks residing in the Pengshan section of the Jinsha River mainly include green-headed ducks, needle-tailed ducks, spotted-billed ducks, and autumn sand ducks, all of which are national three-level protected animals. The large number and variety of these rare birds appearing in Pengshan is rare. These rare birds migrating to Pengshan, Pengshan Forest Administration stated that they will attach great importance and increase protection efforts, allowing these ducks to live freely on the riverbanks.

According to the Meishan Monitoring Center and Meishan Environmental Protection Bureau's detection results, the average surface water quality of the Jinsha River in Pengshan has risen from the 5th-level pollution in 2016 to more than 3rd-level this year. The riverbank is clearer, the shore is greener, and the scenery is more beautiful, attracting more wild ducks and birds to return.
