On February 23rd, patrol officers discovered a new batch of migratory birds in the Ulanbu and Desert lake, mainly consisting of Red-crested Pochard, Hooded Duck, Common Sandpiper, Ruddy Duck, and Scarlet-eyed Duck, with approximately 300 individuals. These birds were playing and foraging on the still-shrinking water surface, enjoying themselves. The Red-crested Pochard and Hooded Duck are naturally alert and difficult to approach, and the patrol officers had to go to great lengths to clearly see their true appearance.
