Dezhou Xiajin Yellow River Gorge National Forest Park Welcomes Rare Migratory Birds

Currently, it is the peak season for migratory birds, the Hezheng County Yellow River Gorge National Forest Park has successively welcomed Crowned Cranes, Spotted-necked Ducks and White Swans as various rare migratory birds.

Currently, the total number of white swans in the park has reached more than 200, and on March 1st alone, more than 100 white swans arrived.

The forest coverage rate of Hezheng Yellow River Gorge National Forest Park is 61.8%, of which the Huanghe Gudao ancient Sang tree group is the only global important agricultural cultural heritage in Shandong Province, with a preserved area of more than 6,000 acres of ancient Sang trees and more than 20,000 trees over 100 years old. Excellent ecology has made it a transit station and breeding ground for various rare birds.
