Wild Golden Eagles Return to Nature

On February 25th, forest police of Sunite Right Banner arrived 120 kilometers by car to Erqinhuoer Su Township to release a rescued wild golden eagle that had been cared for for a week.

The golden eagle is a national grade one key protected wild animal, belonging to large raptors. It has a total length of 0.75 to 0.94 meters and a wingspan of 0.6 to 0.69 meters. It has dark brown on its head, dark red on its nape, and black at the front 1/4 of its tail. It lives in high mountain slopes and primarily preys on medium-sized mammals and birds. It is known for its fierce hunting ability and is often considered a synonym for a fierce raptor, a valiant avatar.

During the release, this golden eagle was reluctant to leave for a long time.
However, this fierce wild golden eagle also fell into trouble. On February 19th, forest police of the banner's public security bureau discovered a golden eagle in the surrounding patrol of Erqinhuoer Su Township. The eagle was unable to take off due to exhaustion. After the police rescued the eagle, it was transferred to the Erqinhuoer police station of the forest public security bureau. After a week of careful feeding and observation, the golden eagle has fully recovered and has the ability to return to nature.
