Locust Swarms Ravage Kenya

This is a locust photographed on a farm in Kitui, Kenya. In recent months, locust plagues have devastated many countries in Africa, with Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia experiencing the worst in 25 years, while Kenya has seen the worst in 70 years. Currently, the locust plague in Africa's Horn is still breeding, and new locust swarms will form in March and April, which may further exacerbate the disaster.
