Center Director Bao Mingwei introduced that ‘Jia Mei’s’ mother is named ‘Ping Cai’, and this is her third time giving birth. After a 693-day gestation period and careful nursing by the center staff, ‘Jia Mei’ is very healthy, weighing 85 kilograms and 94 centimeters tall, and able to stand for 40 minutes, and had her first breast milk after 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Currently, both mother and calf are safe, and staff are providing necessary care.
