Bird Questions & Answers - The Jerboa (Part 1)
Research: Jerboa – A bird of the genus Jerboa in the genus of Tit. Commonly known as the Brown Sandy Nester. Large in body size with a slightly elongated beak, with a sandy-brown color. Usually inhabits arid deserts, such as pebble deserts, scrub deserts, fixed sand dune areas, and dry agricultural environments.
Encountering a group of jerboas is quite rare. While driving through a grassland, we were admiring nature when we suddenly saw birds in the distance. Upon closer inspection, we were delighted to find a jerboa nest feeding its chicks.
