Diver Helps Whale Shark Cut Ropes Off Its Body; Whale Shark Returns 'Thankful to Humans'
A diver helped a whale shark cut its rope off its body in a video that went viral online. In the video, the whale shark was entangled in a very thick rope, and the diver used a knife he carried to cut it. It took about 10 minutes to cut the rope, and the whale shark then dived with the diver to 14 meters underwater.
