Little Jia Love Relay Team Discovers Injured Grade One Protected Animal, Great Bustard
On February 26th, members of the Little Jia Love Relay Team discovered a wounded bird in a nearby farmland while receiving supplies at the Dongqu East Village Public Health Station. After identification, the bird turned out to be a Grade One Protected Animal, the Great Bustard.
After bringing the bird back, according to their experience, they fed it some food, and the Little Jia Love Relay Team members also immediately contacted the Little Jia Love Relay Team and the County Forestry Bureau because they found the bird's foot was injured.
Upon receiving the phone call, relevant personnel from the County Forestry Department immediately arrived at Dongqu East Village and, after confirmation, the injured bird was identified as a Great Bustard. After examination, the Great Bustard was found to have a leg injury.
