World’s Only Female White Giraffe Killed in Kenya, Only Male Calf Remains
The Kenya Wildlife Protection Organization reported on March 10 that the world's only remaining female white giraffe and her calf were killed by poachers. Currently, the only remaining male white giraffe is another calf.

The white giraffe was first discovered in 2017.
Ishakbini-Heriola Community Conservation Organization said that two white giraffes in Galisa, eastern Kenya, were killed by poachers, and the bodies were found to be only skeletons. Currently, only one male white giraffe remains. This poaching incident is a heavy blow to the animal protection organization's years of hard work.
According to the organization's leader, the white giraffe was first discovered in 2017, and by August last year, this female white giraffe had given birth to two white giraffe calves.
