Recently, with the weather gradually warming up, black-necked cranes migrating southward have been returning to the Grassland National Nature Reserve in China.

Located in Wining Autonomous County, the Grassland National Nature Reserve is one of China's important overwintering habitats for black-necked cranes. Each November, a large number of black-necked cranes come to Grassland to overwinter, and they begin to migrate north in March and April of the following year.
