What kind of boyfriend does she want? A huge Komodo dragon in the US can reproduce asexually.
Recently, a reptile in a US zoo was found to be able to reproduce without a 'boyfriend'.

The Chattanooga Zoo in Tennessee houses two Komodo dragons, one male and one female, but zoo staff have never seen them mate. However, female Komodo dragon Charlie recently laid 3 eggs. Detectives discovered a hidden secret when they took the hatched male offspring for DNA testing, which revealed that these offspring had no relation to the male Komodo dragon Kadal, and were entirely the result of Charlie's asexual reproduction.
This phenomenon is called parthenogenesis, which has occurred in many animals, but is most commonly seen in invertebrates like insects. Komodo dragons may be the highest-level species in which it has been observed.
