All Things Have Spirit! Injured Deer Lost and Returned After Rescue, It Cautiously Turned Back!

At 19:00 on March 6th, the Danba Forest Public Security Police received a report from a citizen stating: "There is a wild animal in Bukou Village, Gaoshezha Town, apparently injured."

The police officers quickly rushed to the scene. At the bridge of Bukou Village, about 200 meters away, they discovered a "lost" wild animal trapped inside the embankment."

This wild animal, with its untamed nature, cannot be underestimated. With the assistance of surrounding citizens and police, the wild animal was successfully rescued through joint efforts. It was identified as a crowned deer, also known as a 'sika deer,' which is a 'three-category protected animal' in China. It was listed as 'vulnerable' by the 'World Natural Heritage Alliance' in 2005."
Let's share a little knowledge with you all:
What are 'three-category protected animals'?
☞It is an abbreviation of "three-category", which means "protected animals that are beneficial, have economic value, and have scientific research value." People cannot harm them."

The police brought the crowned deer back to Danba County Forest Public Security Wild Animal Rescue Center. After a detailed examination, it was found that the deer’s lips and mouth had slight skin abrasions. The police provided simple treatment, which was nothing serious!
Police treat the lovely "" (little elf)!

After considering many factors, in order to allow the crowned deer to return to nature as soon as possible, on March 7th, the police drove it 30 kilometers outside the county seat to Yongzhongling Nature Reserve, and successfully released it into the forest!

Interestingly, after releasing the crowned deer, it became particularly friendly and its wild nature was much more restrained. It would run a few meters, look back at the police, run a few meters, and then look back at the police, and finally slowly disappeared into the trees!

Goodbye, my lovely elf!

In recent years, Danba County has strengthened the protection of natural forest resources, expanded the area of animal habitats, and improved the ecological environment. Animals such as black-necked cranes, red pandas, and parrots, which were once on the brink of extinction, are now increasing in number and population.
