Obesity is a happy annoyance, and more serious than obesity is eating too much leading to indigestion. Fish are divided into fish with stomachs and fish without stomachs. No matter what kind of fish, their digestive capacity is weaker than most animals. Indigestion can bring two diseases, namely enteritis and ascites. These are both serious fish diseases, and ascites really makes people headache.

Let's start with ascites. Ascites caused by indigestion is simpler than internal organ failure. The treatment is to stop feeding, let the fish rest; raise the temperature, increase the metabolism, and assist its digestion; add a little salt to balance the osmotic pressure; regularly change the water to ensure that the water quality does not deviate; if you have money, you can buy white flakes, otherwise add a little metronidazole. This ascites is often called 'pseudomas ascites' by fish friends, so it doesn't matter much. As long as you feed well and stabilize the salt level in the fish tank and maintain good water quality, it is rare to happen.
Enteritis caused by indigestion is also one of the less difficult enteritis. This enteritis can be directly treated with or yellow powder bath, the dosage is 100 liters 4-6 tablets, soak for about 30 minutes, use it continuously for three days.

In addition to the above many adverse symptoms, ornamental fish will also have a bloated belly during the breeding period. Pregnant female fish are more aggressive than usual, and sometimes they will chase other fish. Some people say that they can see the belly of the mother fish, if there is a sharp point near the tail, it means it's about to give birth.
