3The water change cycle in winter is longer, and toxins accumulate in the water, so in spring, we must diligently change the surface water and bottom water;

4After the water temperature rises, koi become active, and many koi keepers can't control their hands and want to feed, but they don't pay attention to gradual feeding, leading to overfeeding, and koi lack an adaptation process. Also, early spring often has a reverse spring chill, with drastic water temperature fluctuations, which easily leads to enteritis, moldy, scales, and colds;

Of course! That is to kill insects and bacteria, what we often call 'double kill'.

When it comes to killing insects, we should not only consider killing parasites on the fish's body, but also consider killing parasites and larvae in the water body. It is not recommended to simply take individual fish baths to kill parasites while ignoring the work of killing parasites in the water body. Otherwise, it's easy to get a constant-killing situation;

According to different personal circumstances, use mature insecticide drugs to kill parasites, such as: Baodi Bug, Avidin, Mashetan, Ring Clean, Original Virus Clean;

After taking the insecticide, we must keep the circulation pump open, the oxygenation equipment running normally, or increase the oxygenation volume. It is best to stop feeding in advance. After using the medicine, we must also pay special attention to observing the koi's performance, such as if they show erratic swimming, shaking, sticking to the edge, floating heads, etc., we must immediately change 30-50% of the water, depending on the koi's performance during the water change;

Insecticide kill interval is 5-7 days, then do a second kill;

If you've killed insects but the consecutive rainy days followed by sunny days lead to a breakout of parasites, this is because of weather changes and rain bringing eggs into the water to hatch, so when it's rainy and sunny, you need to supplement killing insects;

In the two days after killing insects, you must also do disinfection and sterilization. Generally, you can use chlorine-based agents, polyketone iodine, potassium permanganate, yellow powder, etc. Iodine-based drugs also have a good detoxification effect because they are gentler than chlorine-based drugs and have less stimulation to the fish. Use them according to the dosage instructions;

Day 1: Avidin (Ivermectin, Baodi Bug, Mashetan) kill insects;

Day 2: Change water 1/5, Baodi Bug supplement kill insects;

Day 3: Change water 1/5, Polyketone Iodine (Chlorine Dioxide, Myotoxin) kill bacteria;

Day 4: Stop for one day without doing anything;

Day 5: Change water 1/5 Polyketone Iodine (Chlorine Dioxide, Myotoxin) kill bacteria;

Day 6: Do nothing;

Day 7: Ring Clean or Ring Kill (Toluene Imidazole) kill insects, 2 hours later, if necessary, increase Car Wheel-specific medicine;

Day 8, 9: Change water 1/5, kill bacteria again;

Day 10, 11: Change water 1/5 for two consecutive days;
