Peacock Angelfish

Peacock Angelfish, (Scientific name: Pterophyllum scalare), also known as Swordfish, Angel Fish, Little Peacock Fish, Little Sailfin Angelfish, etc., belonging to the family Liparidae, the genus Pterophyllum, native to Guyana and Brazil.
The dorsal and anal fins of the Peacock Angelfish are long and large, standing upright like a triangular sail, hence the name Little Sailfin Angelfish. When viewed from the side, the Peacock Angelfish's movement resembles that of a soaring swallow, hence the name Peacock Angelfish. The Peacock Angelfish body length is 12-15cm, reaching up to 15-20cm, with pectoral fins evolving into flowing tendrils and the tail end short, with the upper and lower ends elongated. Divided into long-tailed, medium-tailed, and short-tailed varieties, with transparent blue pectoral fins. Peacock Angelfish are docile in nature, have graceful swimming styles, and are suitable for community tanks. They are known as the 'Queen of Tropical Fish'. Suitable water temperature is 26°C-32°C.
