Poor! Small Kobi Antelope with Broken Right Front Leg Enters Villager's Home; Villagers Rescue
On March 10th at noon, the Linzhai Management Office in Fengxiang County received a phone call from a citizen reporting that a creature resembling a deer had fallen into a villager's home in Houshu Village, Houlin Town, inside an old water tank.

Linzhai Management Office's wildlife rescue officer Li Shi immediately drove to the scene to handle the situation. Upon arrival, he found the animal, which looked like a deer, was a small kobe antelope, a key wild animal in Shaanxi Province. After villagers helped to retrieve it, an examination revealed that the small kobe antelope's right front leg was completely broken, rendering it unable to stand and walk normally, and it was extremely frightened upon seeing people, constantly struggling. Subsequently, they transported the injured small kobe antelope to the City Zoo, where it received emergency treatment.

Zoo Director Li Yongheng of Baoji City Zoo said, 'The small kobe antelope belongs to a key protected animal at the provincial level. Currently, its condition is stable, and the zoo has isolated and treated it. Further treatment will be carried out depending on the small kobe antelope's injury situation'
