Jinzhou White Swans Attract New Companions
Recently, reporters saw near the Wobo Bridge on the section of the Dulan River in Jinzhou City. The original seven resident white swans have gained 14 new companions for wintering here. The white swans sometimes gather in groups of three or five to forage leisurely, and sometimes spread their wings and fly or compete to chase each other… it's like a harmonious and beautiful ecological painting. According to a volunteer swan guardian team member, the over ten new swans are companions brought by the original white swans that wintered here. Since late November and early December, over eighty days, volunteers have not only persisted in guarding and strengthening protection but also carried out auxiliary rescue actions for the swans according to the actual situation of river surface freezing. As the weather gradually warms up, the swans on the Dulan River section will replenish their energy and gradually migrate to their breeding grounds.
