Guangzhou to Yangshuo: 4-Day Solo Bicycle Trip (2000km) on an Old Yangtze River Three-Wheeler
2019-12-1 solo bicycle trip for 4 days, riding my old Yangtze River three-wheeler from Guangzhou through Fuzhou, Huadu, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Huaiji, Wuzhou, Hezhang, Yangshuo, Liuzhou, Wuzhou, Zhaoqing, Guangzhou.
The whole trip was 2000 kilometers. Due to road construction in Wuzhou, three tires exploded on the road, otherwise it could be overcome. In Yangshuo and with old classmates, there was a meetup, they took a high-speed train from Guangzhou, which took 4 hours to Yangshuo, I drove my three-wheeler, 13 hours to Yangshuo.
Seeing my Yangtze River 750 three-wheeler was about to be scrapped, I seized the last opportunity to take a self-drive trip. It also paid off my old three-wheeler. Finally, I appealed to Guangzhou to lift the motorcycle ban!
Morning 6 am departure, before dawn, Baidu District Taikoo Town.
Arrived in Huadu, Chenyi, 8 am. After eating sausage and pork trotters porridge.
Before reaching Huaiji, there was a mountain climbing journey, and the first tire exploded. This tire was specially replaced for me before my departure in Taikoo. I felt very frustrated. On the mountain road, there were no villages and no shops. I had to change the spare tire myself.
At 9 pm, arrived in Yangshuo, my friend drove a 'Big Master' beer fish feast, eating a big meal.
That night, we stayed at the 101 Brave Tribe Hotel inside Long River Scenic Area.
13 classmates completely booked the hotel.
