One Thousand Tea Plants Rooted in Lake River Village, Adding Another Beautiful Place for Viewing in the Coming Year
Over the past few days, the Huozhen Village Lake River Village has organized the 'Blooming Huozhen' flower planting activity, with over 1,000 flowering tea plants rooted in Lake River Village.
The 1,000-plus tea plants mainly include Seven Fairies, Red Dan, Five Treasures, Eighteen Scholars, Little Peach Red, Pearl Embroidery Balls, and Fragrant Tea, among others. The largest 'Five Treasures' tea plant is 50 years old; 'Seven Fairies' is a relatively rare variety, with one tea tree producing seven different colored flowers.

According to the unified plan, in addition to the village's convenience center square and the Body Art Leisure Square, each street and alley in the village will plant one variety of tea flower, and each household will plant 1 to 2 tea plants in front of and behind their houses. To ensure proper maintenance, the village also formulated corresponding measures, signing agreements with each household planting tea flowers, in which the households are obligated to take responsibility for their own tea flowers in front of and behind their houses. If tea plants wither due to improper personal care, the household is responsible for purchasing and planting the same variety of tea flower. In addition, the village will regularly invite tea flower experts to train and guide the villagers.

After the small town renovation, Lake River Village began to design and plan village greening, and also hired experts from Zhejiang Wanjing Municipal Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd. as the resident village designer. Since the 'Blooming Huozhen' activity began, the village has been considering the selection of 'village flower'. Due to the relatively shaded areas in front of and behind the houses in the village, the village conducted repeated research and discussion before determining that tea flowers would serve as the 'village flower' of Lake River Village.
