Baishishi Mountain: Home to China’s Longest and Highest Glass Bridge – ‘The Road in the Sky’
Baishishi Mountain boasts the only national-level large-scale limestone peak landform, and is one of Baoding City’s most famous scenic areas.

The scenic area has two entrances, east and west. The landform is peculiar, the vegetation is lush, and there are many kinds of plants and animals, including peak formations, strange rocks, cliffs, clouds, and rare plant landscapes.

What attracts the most attention is the longest and tallest glass walkway in China, which is known as ‘The Road in the Sky’.
At the summit, there is a cafe built on the cliffside, with two large platforms extending into the mountain, enjoying a cup of coffee while facing the cliffside valley and clouds is an experience not to be missed.

Baishishi Mountain Scenic Area is also known as Baishishi Mountain National Geopark, and is part of Beijing Fangshan World Geopark. Located 15 kilometers south of Cangyangling Town, Baoding City, County, Hebei Province, the mountain is named for its abundant white marble, showcasing a majestic, strange, and perilous mountain landscape, earning it the nickname ‘Little Yellow Mountain’.

In February 2020, Baishishi Mountain Scenic Area paid tribute to all national medical staff, and decided to implement a free ticket policy for all national medical staff (with valid identification) from the resumption of business in 2020 to December 31, 2020.
