During the preliminary scouting, the program team filmed extensively at key geological sites such as the Zunba County Circle Cliff Sky Pit, the largest Asian original bamboo and wood forest sea, the magical inner and outer Luo City, and the mysterious Baihe River Grand Canyon.

During filming, the protagonists Ed Stanford and his competitor Will. Lord will cross the Asian bamboo and wood forest sea, challenge the world's highest altitude sky pit, and delve into the icy spires of the Lingbing Cave during the summer months. They will demonstrate a series of survival skills, including underground cave water and fire finding, crossing karst igneous lakes on the plateau, and escaping from the stone forest labyrinth.
They will only carry the most basic equipment, using their extraordinary wild survival skills to find water and food. Through natural shelters or tool-making techniques, they will avoid rain and mosquito bites, and find the correct direction in the dense bamboo sea and forests without any compasses or navigation equipment.
When necessary, to save time, they may also enter the underground rivers of the sky pits to try to find a shortcut to cross the sky pits. The world's audience will further understand and feel Zunba's rich ecological resources, the mystery of geological sites, and the magnificent natural scenery through the program.
