I live here, driving to Balangshan foot is about 20 minutes, then climb Balangshan, you must focus on driving, the curve, remember to overtake, if there are many cars in front, try not to overtake, driving safety is the most important. The visual effect of Balangshan is very beautiful, you can see everywhere there are wild flowers and grasses. Another thing, on the left side of the driving, opposite, there are bald high mountains, I guess in winter and spring it is snow mountain, in short, through the valley, admire those mountains, that visual impact is pretty cool… People always stop and take pictures along the way, you can also, but you must choose a good parking point.
Reminder: When choosing a parking spot, firstly don't affect the following driving, secondly choose a parking spot on a straight road, you must let the front and rear driving vehicles have a long enough distance to see your car… Parking shouldn't be too casual, achieve: don't hit others, don't be hit by others!

After parking, I suggest you climb up a section of the mountain to take more beautiful pictures, and take some pictures of the opposite high mountains. If you drive a automatic transmission, I suggest you switch to manual, to avoid prolonged braking.

When the downhill road is a certain distance, pay attention to the left front, you will see a viewing platform, definitely parked with many cars, and you park there. Since you are driving down the slope, the parking point is on the opposite side of the road, you must accelerate, warn two-way traffic vehicles, you need to park and take pictures 'show off'… Everyone can understand!

I chose to ride a horse after walking the trail, riding to the place where local people said there were glaciers, if there was enough time, I could ride to the campsite for a while (then I would have to live in the campsite)… I rode back from the glacier to the end point, it's very tired to dismount! The distance from the spot where I dismounted to the statue of Gu La Si and the entrance of the scenic spot is quite far!

Actually, there's no need to go to the pandas on the summit, either walk back after finishing the trail, or ride to the campsite (you will pass by the glaciers), if you plan to go to Danba County or Jiujia today, return after finishing the trail (

The road from Four Girls Mountain to Danba County or Jiujia is the most difficult road in my Western Sichuan journey.
If it's raining, I suggest everyone doesn't drive on this road at night! Because there may be rocks rolling down or landslides at night, you can't see clearly!

Along the way, I encountered several landslides, and I got stuck for 2-3 hours, very sad! In one of the landslide points, if I wasn't the lead driver, I might also be stuck for several hours, because I was the lead driver, I seized the opportunity, quickly occupied the position, and my rear cars were also very smart and followed closely. Later I looked at the navigation, and the rear showed that the distance was getting longer and longer. Then I came to a town, and I was stuck to the point of collapse! I thought it would take me the whole night,
Here I mentioned encountering landslides, occupying the position! Actually, everyone should follow the principle of passing vehicles first, my car is on the outside of the landslide body of the slope, so my car is equivalent to approaching the passing vehicle, there is a priority to drive, unless someone is commanding traffic... ... )

So, I suggest everyone choose a parking spot at 16:30 at the latest when leaving Four Girls Mountain… In the middle, I didn't feel anything, it was just getting stuck, along the way, there were also villages…

When you arrive in Danba, you can stay in Danba County overnight, or in Jiujia. Because it's 22:00 when you arrive, you're hungry!

I stayed in Jiujia, so I drove into the scenic area to buy tickets and climbed a winding and steep mountain road to reach Jiujia. Jiujia entrance has someone on duty at night, you can buy tickets and enter the scenic area to stay overnight… From Four Girls Mountain, along the winding road, it's about 22:15 to arrive at the booked homestay!

Danba County is close to Jiujia, if you stay in Danba County, you need to consider the return trip to the upper and lower Jiujia
