The world is so vast, and people with time and experience should go out and see it. With the improvement of living standards, the tourism industry has developed very rapidly, having traveled throughout China and seen the great landscapes. People are also gradually yearning for foreign scenery. Everyone knows that Chinese architecture is very monotonous, unlike foreign architecture, which is highly favored by Chinese people, '' (literally 'from mud to splendor').

Today, the editor will introduce a place called 'the City of Fairy Tales' – Madurodam, located in the center of The Hague, Netherlands. Here, 120 famous Dutch buildings are replicated in a 1:25 scale. The largest building's height does not exceed 2 meters. Although small, the workmanship is still very exquisite, and many models can automatically operate. Occupying an area of only 1.8 thousand square meters, this 'microcity' is a marvel.

This city model was built in 1952 as a memorial to Madurodam's son who died in World War II, and as a gift to Dutch children. It marked the beginning of the world's miniature landscape and themed parks. Remarkably, the city also has a city crest, and the mayor is appointed by the Dutch Queen.

Every corner of the city is meticulously crafted, featuring churches, castles, palaces, bridges, harbors, airports, railways, parks, and even football fields – all identical to their real-life counterparts. Various miniature professions populate the city, standing just 3 centimeters tall.

Furthermore, there are many dynamic elements, such as miniature cars, boats, and trams, as well as attractions like the carousel and windmills in amusement parks. Here, you can fully appreciate the Netherlands' famous landmarks and learn a lot about Dutch history and culture.
