By Chance and Chance, Get a Vacation to Take a Photo at Calgary Tower
The Calgary Outlets are considered the largest outlet mall in Canada, and it’s located in the downtown core of Calgary, attracting many tourists passing through Calgary and even local residents who love to go shopping. Every weekend, the huge parking lot is always full (parking is free!). The mall is very large, big enough to spend a whole day exploring, and you can basically find all the brands you need. I also bought a lot of gifts for my friends back home, and the prices are very beautiful. There’s also a food area with lots of delicious food, so you can replenish your energy after all the shopping.
To make it easier to fly out the next day, we stayed at the Calgary Airport Marriott, the closest hotel to the Calgary airport, which is located in the airport terminal. It’s especially suitable for travelers or business people. The hotel also provides a fitness center and indoor swimming pool, so you can take care of your body during your travels. In addition, the hotel has a spacious conference center for business travelers, so you can hold events with confidence.
That night, we were back at the hotel, packing our bags and preparing to return home early the next morning, but suddenly my phone received a message saying that our flight was canceled due to the cold weather, so we had to reschedule and stay an extra day. We finally relaxed and had a sweet dream, and we could sleep in tomorrow.
The Calgary Tower is 191 meters high and was built in 1968, located on Parsley Plaza at the intersection of 9th Avenue and 1st Street. It officially opened to tourists on June 30, 1968. The Calgary Tower is famous worldwide because the Olympic torch was lit at the top during the 1988 Winter Olympics. From a distance, the entire Calgary Tower looked like the world’s largest torch. Even today, the torch is sometimes lit during special occasions.

And because the Calgary Tower is so tall, you can see it from any corner of the Calgary city district. It’s actually quite similar to the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. From the bottom to the top, it takes 62 seconds to ride the fast elevator. The top spherical part is divided into three levels: the top level is a bar, serving various drinks, snacks and meals, the next level is the observation deck and rotating restaurant. For adventurous tourists, you can go to the observation deck to experience it. The floor of the observation deck is entirely made of transparent glass, making you feel like you’re suspended high in the air, allowing you to view the beautiful scenery of the city and the snowy peaks of the Rocky Mountains 80 kilometers away. In addition, the rotating restaurant is also a major selling point. Tourists can enjoy delicious food and beautiful city views here.
