1, Qianchi Zhuang

Looking down, it feels like being on the edge of a deep abyss. The top of the steps has a "" (jingkou - a small opening) that, if covered with a metal lid, would block the road to Hua Shan, so it is called "Taihua Yanqou" (the throat of Taihua).

2, Baichixia
After Qianchi Zhuang, you come to Baichixia. Here, the terrain is dangerous and steep, with cliffs and narrow passages, and loose rocks, making visitors feel terrified.

3, Lao Jun Li Gou
Lao Jun Li Gou is a gully-shaped dangerous path located between steep cliffs. It is deep and unknown. Legend has it that Laozi (Lao Jun) saw this place with no way to pass and invited a bull to plow a channel overnight.
4, Hu San Chou
The end of the steps in Lao Jun Li Gou is ‘Hu San Chou’. Because it is extremely dangerous to climb, even monkeys are reluctant to climb it, you can reach the north peak of Hua Shan after passing Hu San Chou.
5, Sa Er Ya
Sa Er Ya has a cliff that protrudes outward and a deep abyss on the other side. Visitors walking here fear that they will be pushed off the cliff and must stick to the cliff wall and slowly side-step, and the narrow road makes it difficult to pass, like scraping faces on the cliff walls.

6, Tian Ti Die
After a narrow and steep Sa Er Ya, you can reach Tian Ti Die. Here, the steps are carved into the standing, sharp cliffs, facing a ten-thousand-foot abyss, and the steps are almost 90 degrees. The steps are almost as long as a person's body.

7, Cang Long Ling
Cang Long Ling is named because the ridge is black and looks like a dragon. It is about 100 meters long and 3 feet wide, with a narrow part and a widening, which makes visitors feel dizzy and confused when walking on it. So Tang Han Yu (Tang Huaiyu) cried and begged for help here, leaving the “Han Retreat Place” on Cang Long Ling’s top.
8, Yun Ti Die
Yun Ti Die is known as the ‘third most dangerous place’ in Hua Shan, located on the north side of the central peak, from Feng Dong Shi Lou (East Stone Tower) to Feng Dong (East Peak) is a shortcut. Yun Ti Die is similar to Tian Ti Die but higher and steeper. The steps are almost 90 degrees, and the steps are half the width of a foot. You must use your hands to grip the iron chains and pull yourself up. The path is suspended with three ropes, and visitors pull the ropes to climb, their bodies are swayed like clouds and mist, so it is called Yun Ti Die.


9, Que Zi Fan Sheng
Que Zi Fan Sheng is the only road to the Chess Pavilion. The road is carved into a hanging cliff, and looking down, you only see a hanging rope suspended in the air, without seeing the path. Visitors must face the cliff and pull the rope with their feet to explore the stone nests, and they must turn their bodies repeatedly, so it is called Que Zi Fan Sheng.


10, Chang Kong Stack Road
Chang Kong Stack Road is located on the east side of the south peak of Hua Shan. It is built on a cliff with stone nails embedded and wooden rafters built.
