Noodle Lover's Paradise: A Legacy of History and Deliciousness in Xi'an

Xian is a place with a strong will, giving people a feeling that you can come and go, but the follow-up is very large. In simple terms, it’s endlessly fascinating and addictive. Some people who have been there once want to go again. So what exactly is the magic of this beloved Xian? Today, the editor will introduce you to the places in Xian that are so captivating.

If you're going to Xian, you absolutely must go to one place, not necessarily because this place is beautiful, but because it truly represents Shaanxi's historical inheritance. Some foreigners coming to China will also want to come here because it's a legacy of history for us, and a world heritage left by history for them. Speaking of which, you should know where it is – it’s the Terracotta Army Exhibition Hall.

The exhibition hall is divided into four sections, also known as four pits, inside which are complete terracotta warriors and horses that have been preserved until today. It’s really unimaginable that such lifelike terracotta figures could be created in that era. However, history needs to be left to the imagination, and the exhibition hall also has some broken walls and ruins. Perhaps it’s due to improper preservation, or natural decay. Although it's a little regrettable, it doesn't affect our love for these priceless treasures, nor does it affect the inheritance of Xian’s historical and cultural heritage. Sometimes a little regret and imperfection is also Xian’s personality.

Buddhist dharma is also a part of Xian’s historical and cultural inheritance. Accordingly, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a product left by Buddhist dharma during China’s golden age. Built during the Tang Dynasty, it was supposedly built to collect scriptures obtained by Monk Xuanzang during his westward journey. It’s a regret not to go to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda when in Xian. When we were young, we all knew that Monk Xuanzang and his disciples had faced many difficulties and hardships before obtaining the Buddhist scriptures, so what exactly were the scriptures they obtained? Come and explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to find out.
