Reported by (reporter Ye Xiaoyan) To prevent potential crowds from gathering while viewing cherry blossoms, Yoshitamine Park has implemented a series of control measures. When tourists become relatively dense, one-way timed touring is implemented in the cherry blossom garden area; when tourists approach 30% of the carrying capacity, visitor entry is stopped.
To prevent tourists from gathering, the park management office has set up patrol posts, and staff in red work clothes constantly remind tourists not to gather. Across Yoshitamine Park, the entire park is divided into 5 zones, with more than 400 staff conducting grid-based inspections to provide security for tourists.
The cherry blossom garden is the best area to view cherry blossoms, and it's also an area that's typically crowded for tourists. How can we ensure that visitors don't gather in the park? A spokesperson for the park management office told reporters that if the number of visitors in the cherry blossom garden is relatively dense, the park will initiate one-way guidance measures through the use of physical barriers and personnel diversion; if the tourist volume approaches the usual weekday carrying capacity of 30%, the park will implement a controlled entry, pausing visitor entry.
In addition, from the start date to April 15th, the park will close the East Gate parking lot, the West Gate parking lot, and the Sea View Tower parking lot, which will also be suspended for public access. The park reminds citizens that from now until April 15th, Yoshitamine Park will implement online reservations and ticketing, and ticket sales will no longer be available on-site; visitors must make a reservation and purchase tickets at least one day in advance on the WeChat public platform 'Enjoy Parks.'
