Sword River: White Tea Flows Gently, Harvesting Abundant Yields - Busy Picking in Deep Valley
To seize Qingming tea harvesting, ensuring tea garden yield enhancement and farmers' increased income, the Taiyong Town Wengwang Village White Tea Base is orderly organizing villagers to harvest tea. The tea fragrance is lingering and intoxicating, and farmers are busy picking fresh tea in the valley.
Melodious songs echo through the deep valley. Villagers from Taiyong Town Wengwang Village are singing while picking tea. Hearing the news of Qingming tea harvesting, villagers rushed to the tea mountain early in the morning to pick a basket of fresh spring tea, and they could also earn a considerable income.
'With tea picking, you can earn two or three thousand yuan a month, which is very good for us seniors. Coming here to pick tea not only earns money but also allows us to take care of our families, which is better than going outside to work,' Taiyong Town Wengwang Village villager Tai Changmei said happily.
'With two children studying and two elderly people to take care of, it's good for us to do business here, earning over 100 yuan a day, and earning over 3,000 yuan a month. I think it's very good for us here,' Taiyong Town Wengwang Village villager Wu Zonglan said with satisfaction.
Being close to home, taking care of a family of four, and earning a decent income is what people like Tai Changmei and Wu Zonglan truly desire.
Turning poor mountain land into industrial dividends, enabling the masses to increase their income, and enhancing tea garden yield, is the primary goal of industrial development. Seeing the base situation is excellent, Taiyong Town White Tea Base manager Pan Jinfeng was also full of confidence, and she also had her own plans and deployments for the tea garden's future.
'Now our tea garden has 133 acres, and this year's growth is very good. We expect the income to be around two million to thirty million, and we can provide employment for 60-70 people in the tea garden every day. We have our own sales channels, and we plan to expand to a planting scale of about 200 acres in the next step.' Pan Jinfeng spoke confidently about the future development.
