Beijing Changping District Pyongyang Mountain National Forest Park, Main Attractions Include the Stone Buddha Statue and the Painted Corridor
Pyongyang Mountain National Forest Park is located in the northwestern suburbs of Changping District, Beijing. The park has an area of nearly 130,000 mu of artificial forest, with a forest coverage rate of 96.5%. There are more than 170 species of trees and flowers in the park, possessing vast natural forest vegetation landscape and unique human landscape. The total area is 8622 hectares, which is the largest national forest park in Beijing. The highest peak is 659 meters. Due to its undulating mountain range resembling a giant python, it is named Pyongyang Mountain.
