Solid Service, Taking Responsibility, and Performing Outstandingly: Writing a New Era of Brilliant Chapters in Cultural Construction and Tourism Development

On March 18th, the Hohhot Tourism Service Center organized a study and discussion on the speeches of Deputy Director Li Xiaqiu at the 2020 Regional Culture and Tourism Work Conference. The entire staff of the service center participated in the study and discussion, and combined with tourism public service work, actively spoke out and planned key work for 2020.
I. Strengthen Tourist Service Center Construction, Continuously Improve Service Systems, Optimize Resource Allocation, and Fully Enhance Efficiency.
In 2019, the Hohhot Tourism Service Center, taking advantage of the Grade A Tourist Center, preliminarily set up 25 ‘Hohhot City Tourism Service Center Service Stations.’ In 2020, it will soon launch the upgrading and renovation of the Hohhot City Tourism Hub and Tourism Goods Development and Demonstration Center (New Sports Field), the White Tower Airport Tourism Consultation Center, and actively strive to initiate the construction of the High-Speed Rail Tourism Service Center. Based on the existing service grid, according to the principles of unified standards, unified service, unified platform, and unified improvement, we will further expand the tourism public service system, striving to achieve the goals of optimizing resource allocation and fully enhancing efficiency.
II. Continuously Promote Online Services, Strengthen Cultural and Tourism Integration, and Accelerate the Development of Hohhot Smart Tourism.
In 2020, accelerate the advancement of the Hohhot City Smart Tourism project pre-approval, promote ‘visible, tangible, and usable’ smart tourism. By promoting and popularizing cultural and tourism online services, we will promote the development of new cultural and tourism business models and continuously meet the personalized cultural and tourism consumption needs of the masses. At the same time, we actively connect with the Xinjiang Culture and Tourism Big Data Platform, and are starting to build the Hohhot City Culture and Tourism Resource Information Library.
Establish an ‘Online Tourism Hub’ platform, innovate to create public welfare and comprehensive new tourism service centers, serving tourism enterprises and tourists, building the cultural and tourism industrial chain, helping travel agencies, scenic areas, rural tourism, creative specialties, and realize online booking, realize lawful and compliant tourism consumption, and record data for traceability. Actively connect with surrounding prefectures and cities, launch Hoh-bao-e-wu tourism shuttle buses and cultural and tourism annual tickets, with the intention of cultural and tourism enterprises to develop ‘one-day tours,’ and improve quality assurance mechanisms. Focus on including red tourism, along the Yellow River, ‘the thousand-mile tea route,’ rural tourism, protected historical sites, museums, art galleries, and non-genetic venues in ‘one-day tour’ tourism routes, actively research and develop study and travel products and services, improve tourism convenience, comfort, and experience, allowing relics to come to life.
Establish a cultural and tourism integrity alliance, actively create a good atmosphere for tourism practitioners to operate with integrity and tourists to practice civilized tourism.
III. Innovate Cultural and Tourism Promotion and Marketing.
Following the example of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism setting up cultural and tourism marketing promotion centers in other countries and regions, it is planned to set up ‘Hohhot Culture and Tourism Marketing Promotion Centers’ in important tourist destinations and source regions such as Hainan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Ningxia, and continue to carry out tourism marketing and promotion activities, strengthen cooperation with Beijing, Tianjin, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Guangdong, Guangxi, as well as along the High-Speed Rail and Yellow River lines, and other important tourist source regions.
In response to the rapid growth trends of self-driving tours and high-speed rail tours, explore integrated product development, integrated image promotion, and integrated service marketing.

Fully Implement Ideological and Political Consciousness and Safety Production Responsibility Systems.In accordance with the ‘Tourism Public Service Window’ positioning of the Hohhot Tourism Service Center, accelerate the construction of tourism public service capabilities, proactively adapt to people's needs, improve various regulations and systems, revise and supplement the ideological and political consciousness and safety production responsibility system implementation details, and revise the emergency response plan.
