Flights to Chengdu Appear at Bargain Prices; Once-Popular Tourist City Now Empty

When it comes to domestic tourist cities, Chengdu is undoubtedly one of the hottest. Every year during various holidays, friends visiting Chengdu to travel often complain about the high flight prices and the occurrence of full-price tickets. However, now the flight tickets to Chengdu have suddenly appeared at very cheap prices. Just search casually, flights from Guangzhou to Chengdu are as low as 60 yuan.

Flights from Shanghai to Chengdu also only cost 170 yuan.

At this price, we couldn't even imagine it during other time periods. Looking at the pictures of tourists taking photos in Chengdu's scenic spots, with an impatient mood, we pack our luggage and take necessary protective measures. I came to Kuanzhai Alley to see what the bustling scene of the scenic spot is like now. Kuanzhai Alley and Jinshang Alley consist of Kuanzhai Alley, Jinshang Alley and Jingxiang Alley, it is the most well-preserved Qing Dynasty ancient street in Chengdu. Kuanzhai Alley concentrates the most complete old buildings in the whole street, where you can have a bowl of tea, eat authentic Sichuan cuisine and experience the old Chengdu style. Jinshang Alley has Qing Dynasty-era architecture and early Western-style villas, it is a leisure lifestyle area with Western-style food culture and artistic relaxation. Jingxiang Alley is a typical microcosm of Chengdu folk culture, in addition to the attractive brick culture wall, it also gathers Chengdu's characteristic snacks and folk items.
Kuanzhai Alley used to be bustling with tourists, many places for people to take photos, shop and taste various snacks were crowded with people. If such a fun and quirky scene appears, tourists will surround the area, blocking the passage. Kuanzhai Alley is originally a small space, and it's difficult to walk during holidays.

Now, most of the shops in the alley are closed and empty, the most popular restaurants are empty, and there are almost no tourists in the street, only the occasional delivery boys rushing to the alley's delivery points.

Occasionally, some shops are open, but they all have 'Warm tips' posted at the entrance, requiring visitors to wear masks, measure their temperature, and take personal protective measures.
Seeing this scene, I suddenly remembered shooting similar environments before, like this.

The crowds here, the degree of bustle, seem to only exist in my computer, and now, seeing the empty Kuanzhai Alley, I sincerely hope that it will soon return to its former glory, at that time, I will definitely take my camera to capture the prosperous Chengdu.
